The MVM Advisory Committee works tirelessly to keep our school vision at the
forefront. Click here to read our bylaws.
The MVM Advisory Committee is a group of people dedicated to the success of our
program. They generally meet once per month and spend this time focusing on the
vision and mission of MVM. Their overall role is to ensure that all instruction,
activities, experiences and decisions made at MVM meet our mission. The MVM
Advisory Committee also serves as a positive link between MVM and our charter
board, Victor Elementary School District.
During each school year, members of the Advisory Committee consist of the
Principal/Head of School and one classroom teacher, four parent representatives,
and up to four District representatives. Elections are held in the spring and new
members are invited to the last meeting of the year. Current members are listed to
the right.
Frequently, sub-committees are formed to handle issues such as budget, hiring,
facility improvement, etc. Sub-committee members may consist of parents,
guardians, teachers, staff, and/or community members. We invite you to attend any
of our meetings; dates and times are listed in the MVMCS monthly newsletter.
