Admissions
Mountain View Montessori is open to all families who desire a Montessori education for their
children. We are a public school and do not charge fees or tuition. To enroll a student, an
application must be submitted to Miss Mona in the administrative office. Monthly
informational meetings are held for new families desiring to learn more about our program
and the Montessori philosophy. We encourage interested families to tour our facilities and
observe in a classroom prior to enrolling their child/children.
Currently, there are 165 students enrolled at Mountain View and another 40-50 families on
the waiting list. We are presently looking at a variety of ways we can accommodate the
need for Montessori in the high desert. Although there is no guarantee by placing your
child on the waiting list, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible. Administration
will pull from the waiting list throughout summer and through the first few months of the
2009/2010 school year. Siblings of current students have priority and will
automatically receive a spot (assuming complete enrollment forms have been
turned into the office).
If you are interested in learning more about Mountain View Montessori Charter School call
843-3303 and schedule a time for an orientation with our principal, Mrs. Tiffany Lyons.
This will provide you the opportunity to enhance your knowledge of Montessori and see
our staff and students in action.
